The club recently received an e-mail from an ex-Northamptonian, now residing on the other side of the Atlantic.

Hello St Michaels CC,

As an expatriate Northamptonian and ex town league cricketer [I played for Far Cotton St Mary's in the post war 40's & 50's] now resident these many years in California it warmed my heart to find your web site.

Interesting to see a young Sid Cox in the 1925 photo & who I think remained one of the town league leading lights in my time. My brother, Jim Booth, played for Delapre & later for Kingsthorpe. What a small wonderful world this is!
