Innings of: St Michael's
Innings of: Obelisk 'B'
Match report Oh dear, what a pile of pooh. St Michael's batting collapsed to gift Obelisk an easy 8 wicket win on Saturday in their worst performance of the season so far.On the occasion of Will Kingston's 21st birthday, he opened with his father Bill, and the father and son partnership put on 34 for the first wicket. When dad was out for 8, Kingston jr and Dale Harrison looked to progressing well, until Harrison was out to a lazy shot when he was bowled by Adams for 14, leaving the score at 61 for 2. The next 45 minutes was a horror show as Adams ripped through a wafer thin St Michael's attack to end up with 6 for 18. Resistance was negligible. Express made light work of the 103 victory target, winning by 7 wickets with time to spare. Bull made 50, with Ian Geddes grabbing 2 for 28. A poor day at the office. And things won't get any easier when St Michael's visit undefeated table topping Express. |
