South African Expedition 2000 Wednesday 12 January 2000 The day has finally arrived. Our 3 intrepid travellers meet in the Tap & Spile Pub in Heathrow’s Terminal 1 for a last pint of English Ale before 2 ½ weeks of Castle Lager consumption begins. But horror upon horror, they’ve run out of pint glasses !! Never mind - 6 halves please. Our last proper beer downed, our overnight flight to Johannesburg awaits. South Africa, here we come !!!
